The GLOCK company presents a new generation ... GLOCK Gen4 models!

The new Gen4 features several new features designed to meet the most demanding users. It is based on the G17 / G22 MBS (multiple rear additional handles) with a smaller trigger mechanism - Short Frame - and is a fully functional pistol. The multiple rear additional handle system allows the user to change the circumference of the handle to match the size of his palm. The handle has three choices.

A small version, medium version or large version, easy to change and secured with a pin. The smallest rear handle is integrated in the G17 MBS by reducing the trigger distance of the chassis, such as 2 mm in the G17 / G22. The middle rear handle has a thickness of 2 mm that is the same size as a G17 / G22 frame. The long handle has a thickness of 4 mm. The biggest advantage is that the GLOCK "Safe Action" handgrip is firm and does not change from the handle modifications. This ensures that the shooter will not drop high or low when the rear shell is changed.

The release button of the Gen4 magazine is reversible and expanded. Reversibility allows users to change their position on the left or right side of the pistol without additional accessories.

Internally, the original reset spring has been replaced with a double spring return assembly. The double-recoil spring assembly significantly reduces the recoil while increasing the life span of the spring.

In addition, the Gen4 features a new Rough Textured Frame (Gen4 RTF) designed to enhance traction and is available in the frame as well as interchangeable rear bars.

During the recent exhaustive endurance tests of the GLOCK 22 Gen4 in the United States and the SWAT Round Up International competition, many US police services had the opportunity to handle and shoot the new pistol, and many positive remarks were made on design changes.
